Education Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Education Assistant to join our team at Quesnel School District. As an Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social/emotional difficulties.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with learning and behavioral challenges
  • Support teachers in the classroom and with lesson planning
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans for students
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 graduation and a minimum of a 1-year post-secondary education program in an Education Assistant or Developmental Disabilities Certificate Program
  • Demonstrated experience in working successfully with children/adolescents with social/emotional difficulties
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
