Key ResponsibilitiesThe primary role of the employee in this position involves:
- Overseeing the comprehensive maintenance and upkeep of educational facilities, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Managing a total area of maintenance responsibilities that exceeds 9,275 square meters.
- Coordinating and supervising a team in executing maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Conducting regular inspections and assessments of the facilities to maintain operational efficiency.
In this capacity, the employee will:
- Organize and implement maintenance schedules in collaboration with supervisory staff.
- Provide guidance and support to team members in performing maintenance duties.
- Ensure that all maintenance equipment is properly maintained and operational.
- Carry out minor repairs and ensure that all facilities are in optimal condition.
- Monitor safety protocols to protect against fire hazards and theft.
- Assist in the preparation of spaces for various activities and events.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A general understanding of building systems, including heating, ventilation, and alarm systems.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance trades and practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
