Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and implementing operational procedures to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This will include developing and maintaining schedules, coordinating staff activities, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.

Supervise and Train Staff

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and training staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. This will include providing guidance and support to staff members, conducting performance evaluations, and making recommendations for staff development and training.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory and supplies to ensure that all necessary items are available when needed. This will include ordering supplies, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.

Ensure Quality Control

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all food and services meet quality control standards. This will include conducting regular quality control checks, investigating and resolving any quality control issues, and making recommendations for improvements.

Prepare and Submit Reports

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for preparing and submitting reports to management on a regular basis. This will include providing detailed reports on staff performance, inventory levels, and quality control issues.

Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of staff members. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 35 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime. The work environment will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.

Requirements
  • Education

The successful candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

The successful candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
