We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Wah Hing Meat Shop. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and processing meats for sale.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
- Cut and Trim Meats: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, as well as prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
- Wrap and Package Meats: Wrap and package prepared meats for sale, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Remove Bones and Weigh Meats: Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Cut Poultry and Grind Meats: Cut poultry into parts and grind meats as needed, following proper food safety procedures.
- Prepare Displays: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a meat cutting or processing role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
