About the Role

Cash App is seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our Identity team. As a member of this team, you will design, build, and support the core systems used to manage identity on Cash App. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build an identity system that is scalable, secure, and reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable solutions to manage customer identity information
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to support audits and implement regulatory controls
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to provide support for our services
  • Work with industry-leading identity verification technologies
  • Be involved in defining and implementing an expanding roadmap

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working on complex systems and delivering quality software
  • Well-developed curiosity and enjoy building creative solutions to complex problems
  • Expertise in the full software development life cycle
  • Strong communication skills and customer empathy
  • Contributing to the growth of our development capabilities through leading, mentoring, and supporting fellow engineers
