Inside Sales Representative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team at DMC Recruitment. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing existing accounts, developing new business, and servicing all orders for new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Connect with clients and company branches across Eastern Canada to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Service orders, determine customer needs, upsell, promote monthly promotions, and ensure product availability.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients and establish trust through exceptional communication and customer service.
  • Establish monthly and annual sales goals and work with the branch to achieve targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage new and existing customers across multiple sectors, including commercial, industrial, institutional, hospitality, and specialty contractors.
  • Follow up on leads, quotes, RFPs, and communicate with customers, utilizing a CRM to track communication and activity.
  • Daily communication with the branch team to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on related new products and services, competitor activities, and market trends, and engage with internal departments to ensure products, services, and offerings remain competitive and meet customer demands.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of inside sales experience or experience in customer-facing roles.
  • A self-starter with a proven track record of managing accounts, growing sales, and exceeding targets.
  • Strong computer skills and CRM experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to research and identify opportunities, negotiate, and close sales.
  • French is an asset.
