Job Title: Veterinary Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health LLC. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Veterinary Assistant will assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks, including preparing patients for procedures, administering medications, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and have a strong passion for animal care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care and procedures
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including administering medications and taking vital signs
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including disinfecting equipment and cleaning animal enclosures
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones and scheduling appointments
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong passion for animal care and welfare
