Job Title: Veterinary Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health LLC. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians and veterinary technicians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Job Summary:

The Veterinary Assistant will assist with various tasks, including preparing patients for procedures, maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about animal care and want to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with preparing patients for procedures, including setting up examination rooms and preparing medical equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, including cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and addressing client concerns.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other support staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary animal care program preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a hands-on animal care environment, including veterinary clinics, wildlife centers, or shelters.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and safely in a clinical setting.
