The City of Kamloops Planning and Procurement Division is seeking a skilled Procurement Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expertise in the competitive-bid process, negotiating contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and more. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide procurement expertise to support the competitive-bid process
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure fair and competitive terms
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in a Business-related discipline and SCMP designation, or equivalent
  • Minimum three years progressive purchasing experience

A police information check is required for designated positions. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $46.098
