Position Overview:
As a General Labourer, you will play a crucial role in our operations, contributing to a team-oriented environment. Your adaptability and willingness to embrace change will be key to your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and management.
  • Execute cleanup tasks utilizing shovels and/or small heavy machinery.
  • Assist in conducting maintenance inspections and related activities following established protocols.
  • Operate crushing and screening equipment as per training and directives.
  • Promptly report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to your supervisor.
  • Be prepared for varying job duties based on operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction, mining, or heavy machinery operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent is required.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as necessary.
  • Physical capability to navigate the plant environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is preferred, including skills in welding and fitting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions are required.
  • Comfort working in both indoor and outdoor settings under various weather conditions.
