About the Role

MIAO'S FOODS is seeking a skilled Butcher Assistant to join our team. As a Butcher Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean meats to prepare them for processing or cutting, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Cut and Trim Meats: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat for our customers.
  • Wrap and Package Meats: Wrap and package prepared meats to maintain their freshness and quality.
  • Weigh and Label Meats: Weigh meats for sale and accurately label them for our customers.
  • Slice and Shape Meats: Slice cooked meats and shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood to meet our customers' needs.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required for this role.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our business.
