Key Responsibilities- Picking and Packing Orders: Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas, ensuring that products are of the highest quality and accurately packed to meet customer expectations.
- Order Accuracy and Quality: Pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes, to ensure that customers receive their orders as intended.
- Documentation and Labeling: Correctly document and label all orders through interpretation and understanding of documentation, including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
- Tote Optimization: Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards.
- Customer Interaction and Service: Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction, offering service and supporting issues to resolution.
- Safety and Food Hygiene: Ensure strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean and hygienic work area, immediate clean-up of spills and debris, and ensuring all totes are clean and void of debris before packing.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, and efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in completing and adjusting to work assignments based on customer requests and meeting daily delivery schedules.
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $15.75. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
Working ConditionsThis role requires standing for long periods, frequent lifting, bending, and reaching, as well as working in a fast-paced environment with high productivity standards.
