Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Neighbourly Pharmacy in Barrhead, Alberta. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and serving.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates for food service operations.
- Prepare and submit reports on food service performance.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of supervisory experience in the food service industry.
- Excellent knowledge of food service procedures and protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including motivating, delegation, conflict management, and respect for others.
- Professional attitude and ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and suppliers.
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced food service environment, interacting with customers and staff on a regular basis. A high level of physical activity is required, including standing for long periods, lifting, and bending.
