About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our team at N&M PRODUCE LTD. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity, informing merchandise and pricing decisions.
  • Determine the product mix and services to be offered, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Implement pricing and credit policies, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Source and procure merchandise for resale, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Plan and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to optimize profitability.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply chain issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Plan, organize, and direct daily operations, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • 30-40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
