Auto Body Solderer

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Solderer to join our team at CO-UP AUTO BODY REPAIR. As an Auto Body Solderer, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret welding process specifications and read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
- Fitting, brazing and torch-straightening metal, determining weldability of materials, and operating previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Permanent employment.
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
- English language.
