Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical/Registered Practical Nurse (LPN/RPN) to provide skilled client care in the homes of individuals requiring peritoneal dialysis in Port Moody. As part of our dedicated team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care, including administering treatments and medications as prescribed.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to monitor client health status and identify any changes or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all care provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Adhere to strict infection control protocols and universal precautions to ensure a safe environment for both clients and yourself.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Full-Scope LPN.
  • Experience with peritoneal dialysis is an asset but not required; training can be provided.
  • Current registration in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently while maintaining clear communication with the team.
