Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Comtech Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project analysis, forecasting, and reporting to senior management.
  • Guide billing and project accountants on proper contract management and ensure accurate project setup in the ERP system.
  • Lead variance investigation on various accounting transactions.
  • Prepare monthly reports, including key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives.
  • Perform regular balance sheet account review and ensure all key financial reconciliations are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual audits.
  • Assist in tax filing, remittance, and reconciliation.
  • Develop and implement new internal processes to enhance the workflow of the department.
  • Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
Qualifications
  • Working Conditions: Office-based
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis within a service-based organization.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or working towards is required.
  • Licenses OR Certifications: Holding or working towards a recognized Accounting designation.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Well-versed in management and statutory reporting.
    • Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.
    • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to accuracy and detail required.
