At the University Health Network, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Professional Practice to join our team. As a key member of our Collaborative Academic Practice portfolio, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of professional practice standards and quality control measures in our acute care programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and practice guidance relating to the provision of care and organization-wide healthcare delivery model changes.
- Lead service and program initiatives based on current and evolving patient care and practice standards.
- Develop and motivate a cohesive team and assist in identifying and supporting educational strategies to enhance staff knowledge with respect to professional practice and patient care.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of profession-specific and interprofessional practice standards at the program level and across the organization.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Current registration and good standing with a Regulatory Health Professions College or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8+ years of practical and related experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining professional practice standards and quality control measures in a healthcare environment.
