About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Ramada Worldwide (by Wyndham). As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance and repair functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Administration: Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services to ensure seamless delivery and optimal value.
  • Schedule Development: Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Direct the maintenance and repair of our hotel's machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems to ensure they are functioning at optimal levels.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise a team of maintenance staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Operations Budgeting: Plan and manage the facility's operations budget to ensure that maintenance and repair expenses are aligned with business objectives.
  • Administrative Services: Plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication, with the ability to work in a bilingual environment.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts as required.
