Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of designated staff, providing feedback and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Dietician to plan menus and develop recipes that meet the nutritional and therapeutic needs of our patients and residents.
- Estimate food requirements, order supplies, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers to ensure efficient and effective food service operations.
- Monitor expenditures and make recommendations for budget allocations to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Evaluate meal quality and quantity to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Coordinate meal preparation, pricing, and other related duties for community-based services such as Meals on Wheels.
- Assist in maintaining facility in-house services by coordinating cafeteria operations, including pricing, staffing, and closure procedures.
- Perform audits to ensure compliance with food service and quality assurance standards.
- Monitor the storage of food, supplies, and related items to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
