Job Summary

Park Paving Ltd. is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our Maintenance Division based in Sherwood Park, AB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to heavy duty equipment services and repairs on our fleet in the Edmonton and surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust, and replace parts and equipment/controls as required.
  • Scheduled and Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance of all equipment or assets.
  • Field Service: Work alone in the field servicing heavy duty equipment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Fill out required paperwork, including forms such as work orders, hazard assessment sheets, daily time sheets, and repair lists.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with supervisors, administration, and workers to complete all work orders efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Journeyman/Journeywoman certificate (required).
  • Education and Experience: Successful candidates will be licensed or apprentice Heavy Duty Technicians with a valid driver's license and a strong operating knowledge of a wide range of heavy-duty equipment.
  • Work Environment: This is a full-time permanent position with competitive wages and benefits. The successful candidate will work primarily in the field, with occasional work in a maintenance shop environment.
