Job Title: Medical Sciences Liaison

Join GlaxoSmithKline as a Medical Sciences Liaison and play a key role in advancing the company's mission to impact positively the health of billions of people. As a Medical Sciences Liaison, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining scientific peer-to-peer relationships with external experts in hematology/oncology, providing scientific exchange and driving impact for patients with the highest industry standards following GSK values, policies, standards, applicable laws, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to requests for in-depth, scientific information in the field of hematology malignancies
  • Discuss and contextualize new data from scientific conferences, publications, and GSK's pipeline to ensure a strong external understanding of how the science fits into clinical practice
  • Drive capturing important scientific insights from the external environment to support GSK's research efforts as well as inform overall medical strategy
Requirements:
  • Advanced post-graduate scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD)
  • Valid Canadian driver's license
  • Strong fluency in both French and English (scientific and technical)
  • Exceptional aptitude to apply and leverage scientific and medical information while establishing scientific credibility through peer-to-peer discussion and debate
