Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreperson to join our team in Victoria, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing daily operations, ensuring the completion of work scope, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily operations, including completion of work scope and inventory management
  • Develop and implement construction schedules and monitor progress
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Coordinate with site coordinators and general superintendents
  • Provide leadership and instruction to apprentices and journeypersons
  • Ensure compliance with safety programs and policies, and participate in safety training
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and contractors
  • Perform installation and troubleshooting of electrical components in various structures

Requirements

  • Red-Seal Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
  • 5 years of electrical experience in multi-family residential and commercial sectors
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Valid Class B FSR or higher (an asset)
  • Extensive knowledge of CEC
  • Commercial and residential construction experience required
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license (preferred)
