Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at 2685441 Ontario Inc. as a Heavy Equipment Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on commercial transport trucks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on trucks, including routine inspections and repairs.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various work sites.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced technicians. The work site will be dusty, and the candidate must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
