About the Role

Arcadis is seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team in the GTA office. As a key member of our Civil Engineering Team, you will work closely with senior and junior staff to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project coordination and management
  • Client and municipal liaison
  • Completion of engineering designs and studies
  • Collaboration with the Design & Engineering teams to create iconic structures and spaces
  • Working with the global business area Places to create, support, and enhance smart, safe, and sustainable places

Role Accountabilities

  • Project engineer of existing projects and urban development projects
  • Complete servicing and grading designs utilizing Civil-3D
  • Serve as a focal point for all project-related communications with clients
  • Work closely with the civil engineering team to ensure designs align with business objectives
  • Assist with the delivery of technical designs within cost, schedule, and quality parameters
  • Responsible for the preparation and reviews of engineering design drawings and associated reports
  • Manage all stages of the technical design by engineering disciplines and other technical specialists
  • Lead the identification of technical design/support resource requirements and provide input into resources planning

Qualifications and Experience

  • A university degree or college diploma in Civil Engineering
  • P. Eng status or Eligibility for registration with PEO
  • 5 to 10 years of land development design and municipal infrastructure experience at increasing levels of responsibility
  • Adapt well to continual change in a dynamic environment
  • Task-oriented with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplined team both as a team member and as a leader
  • Initiative and ability to work independently while working with a team of design professionals
  • A commitment to excellence and high-quality work with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fluent in use of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Fluent in use of MS Office
