About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Construction Superintendent to join our team in Fredericton, New Brunswick. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Supervise and direct construction teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete projects efficiently.
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing measures to minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Conduct site inspections, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions to ensure projects meet quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality, driving business growth and success.
Requirements
  • Journeyman certificate or undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
