About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Athletics Coach to join our team at Vancouver Squash Academy. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training and practice sessions for our athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Plan and deliver training sessions to athletes of various skill levels, focusing on technique, strategy, and physical conditioning.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze and evaluate athletes' performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance their skills.
  • Team Management: Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Recruitment and Evaluation: Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance, identifying potential talent and recommending them for our programs.
  • Communication and Presentation: Present materials at conferences or symposia, sharing your expertise and knowledge with colleagues and industry professionals.
  • Work Environment: Work in an urban area, with a focus on squash, and be available to work 30-35 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
