About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic Technician to join our team at CB Canada. As a Labour/Small Engine Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Journeyman Technicians, Shop Foremen, and Service Managers with housekeeping and maintenance of the shop, equipment, tools, yard, vehicles, and repairing small engine components.
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks, including routine inspections and repairs.
  • Clean and organize company tools and equipment, ensuring all are accounted for.
  • Advise management of any conditions that may be hazardous to customers and/or employees.
  • Dispose of failed and replaced material and parts.
  • Maintain the cosmetic appearance of all units being worked on.
  • Wash and clean units.
  • Obtain and/or deliver parts.
  • Deliver units to customers or other vendors.
  • May assist with minor building maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License is required.
  • Valid Class 3 Drivers License considered an asset.
  • Air Endorsement preferred.
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be comfortable driving large vehicles and trucks.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
