About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Royal Indian Chef & Sweets. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
    • Ensure that all dishes, glassware, and flatware are washed and sanitized.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to our menu.
    • Portion and wrap foods for service.
  • Food Service
    • Take customers' orders and ensure that they are fulfilled promptly.
    • Operate manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
