Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul Professional to join our team at EFL Transport Inc. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 or A driver's license and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work 60 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
