Position Overview

Excelone Staffing Services is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Truck Operator to join our team. This role involves operating specialized vehicles for waste collection in various locations.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in diverse settings, ensuring efficient waste management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine checks, lubricate, refuel, and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
  • Operate various types of vehicles and equipment safely.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Must possess an AZ class license or a DZ class license.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement is required.
Experience with Equipment
  • Experience operating garbage trucks and snow transportation vehicles is preferred.
Safety and Security
  • Driver's validity license check is mandatory.
  • A driving record check (abstract) will be conducted.
Transportation and Travel
  • Vehicle will be supplied by the employer.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle is necessary.
Physical Demands

This position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
