About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team at RS Bookkeeping and Accounting. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare financial reports for management and clients.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or certificate in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in computerized bookkeeping systems.
