Job Overview

itec group Inc. is in search of a talented and knowledgeable Project Manager/Estimator with a focus on fabrication. This position involves managing projects from the estimation phase to final delivery, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and top-notch quality. Your proficiency in fabrication techniques and project oversight will be crucial to our operational success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the estimation phase for fabrication projects, evaluating blueprints, specifications, and related documents to ascertain material, labor, and equipment needs.
  2. Create comprehensive cost estimates that encompass labor, materials, subcontractor quotes, and other associated project costs.
  3. Formulate project timelines, milestones, and budgets, ensuring compliance throughout the project duration.
  4. Ensure project profitability by documenting changes in project scope with clients and managing warranty claims with suppliers.
Required Qualifications
  1. Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
  2. A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant domain is preferred.
  3. Background in construction project management or manufacturing is advantageous.
  4. Familiarity with PMBOK standards and best practices is a plus.
  5. Strong time management abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
  6. Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is beneficial.
