Occupational Therapist

Lifemark is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Berwick, NS. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical and psycho-social recovery of our clients.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits program. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians who share your drive and passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning and create individualized treatment plans
- Implement treatment plans and educate clients on safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities
- Support return-to-work programs and collaborate with the inter-professional team
- Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders
- Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
- Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development and FCE Trained
