Bergonia residence is seeking a reliable and compassionate Child Care Live-In Caregiver to join our team. As a key member of our household, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children.
Responsibilities:- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering their growth and independence.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their physical and mental development.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring the children's dietary needs are met.
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods, establishing a soothing and calming environment.
- Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive presence.
- Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their timely arrival and departure.
- Help children with homework, promoting their academic growth and development.
- Experience an asset, but not required.
