Associate - First Nations and Metis Relations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Associate - First Nations and Metis Relations Specialist to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. The successful candidate will have experience working with First Nations and Metis communities and organizations, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with these groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with First Nations and Metis communities and organizations
  • Provide support and guidance to staff on Indigenous relations and partnerships
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Indigenous relations and partnerships strategies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with Indigenous relations and partnerships goals
Requirements:
  • Experience working with First Nations and Metis communities and organizations
  • Business Administration diploma (DBA) or A Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Competencies:
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Mobilizes people, inspires and leads by example
Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Commitment to a diverse, representative workforce and cultural safety
