Job Title: Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Canada Inc. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Stocking and Supply Management: Stock linen closet and ensure adequate supplies are available.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and launder clothing and household linens.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including washing windows, walls, and ceilings, and cleaning changing rooms and showers.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Administer first aid in emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, uniform, safety equipment/gear, equipment, and steel-toed safety boots.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, flexibility, initiative, organized, team player, and honesty.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Setting: Office building, willing to relocate, and health care institution, facility, or clinic.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, own vehicle, valid driver's license, and public transportation available.
