We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Associate at Innovative Facility Care Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Facilities
    • Ensure all areas of the commercial building are clean and well-maintained, including floors, carpets, and fixtures.
    • Perform daily cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
    • Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
  • Handle Lost and Found Items
    • Receive and store lost and found items in a secure and organized manner.
    • Return lost items to their rightful owners.
  • Provide Customer Service
    • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide basic information about the facilities and services offered.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks
    • Complete paperwork and reports as required.
    • Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and inventory.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate is required.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
    • Ability to lift heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
    • Ability to stand for long periods and walk on uneven surfaces.

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced commercial environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
