  • Install built-up roofing systems utilizing materials such as asphalt-saturated felts and hot asphalt combined with gravel.
  • Replace or install asphalt shingles, wood shingles, shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped surfaces.
  • Set up single-ply roofing systems with waterproof sheet materials, including modified plastics or asphaltic compositions.
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or masonry surfaces, both above and below ground.
  • Repair metal roofing using a variety of hand and power tools.
Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
