Our Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team at TNG. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to all company vehicles and equipment, including gas, diesel, and propane-powered vehicles, as well as repairs to private vehicles, tractors, and trailers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair company vehicles and equipment
  • Test drive vehicles
  • May be required to change over wheels and tires
  • Keep work area and equipment clean, safe, and orderly
  • Follow procedures as related to forms and fill out reports relating to vehicle maintenance and equipment accurately in an orderly fashion
  • Will be required to perform service calls when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Understanding of diagnostic equipment and test procedures relating to the transportation industry
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a changing environment
  • Physically fit, with heavy lifting involved
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Possess a GZ or DZ driver's license (preferred)
