About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Central Avenue Health Centre. As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality massage therapy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans that address clients' specific needs.
  • Massage Therapy: Provide expert massage therapy services to clients, including deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, and other techniques as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client treatments, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Client Education: Educate clients on proper self-care techniques, including stretching, exercise, and relaxation methods.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a recognized massage therapy program.
  • Certification: Registration with a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
