About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Elsie Kalu. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds, change sheets, stock linen closets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Special Tasks: Clean changing rooms and showers, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: Efik, Igbo.
