Position Overview

As a Food Service Supervisor at Dairyqueen, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary services. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment of 35 hours per week and proficiency in English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Management: Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Training: Educate staff on their job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Resource Estimation: Assess and estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
  • Recruitment: Hire and onboard food service personnel.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that food and service adhere to quality control standards.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare budgets and cost estimates for food services.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Order Preparation: Compile food order summaries for the chef.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Possess a thorough understanding of the establishment's culinary styles.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Supervisory Role

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.

Experience Requirements

Applicants should have 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience in food service.
