Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People and Culture Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our People and Culture department, you will be responsible for managing our HRIS and Payroll system, as well as other P&C systems and technical tools. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR and payroll processes, and in providing exceptional support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our HRIS and Payroll system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support and training to employees on HR and payroll systems and processes.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR and payroll operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HR and payroll systems with other business systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices, and implement updates to our HR and payroll systems accordingly.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting or administering HR and/or Payroll systems, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Certification as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) would be an asset.
  • Strong technical skills or aptitude, including knowledge of relational database systems, data management principles, data analysis and manipulation, and reporting tools.
  • Solid communication skills with ability to adapt style and content to various audiences using business or technical language as appropriate.
  • Systems or business analysis, project experience, and knowledge of SQL would be considered strong assets.
