Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in web runtime technologies, including web engines and JavaScript engines.
  • Contribute to the design and development of the next-generation web engine and the formulation of relevant standards.
  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of the web engine to achieve a leading architecture with high performance, low resource consumption, and flexibility.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with web OS or web kernel development.
  • Proficiency in one of the following languages: C++, C, JavaScript, Java.
  • Excellent coding and engineering realization skills.
  • Experience with architecture of frameworks, such as Angular, React, Vue, is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Blink/Webkit, web layout, web rendering, JavaScript engine, WebAssembly, PWA, and web security is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of Android or iOS is an asset.
