Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Software Engineer at Accommodations Plus International. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software systems using Java/J2EE technologies
  • Work with our team to integrate new software solutions with existing client systems
  • Participate in software design, architectural discussions, prototyping, and development estimation process
  • Perform software analysis, risk analysis, reliability analysis
  • Integrate new software solutions with existing client systems
  • Participate in client requirements, scrum team discussions
  • Functional/system integration testing support and deployment
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years experience developing web-based applications
  • Minimum 5 years development experience in Java/J2EE technologies
  • BSc/BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
  • Strong skills in Spring (MVC, Core, IOC, Spring Boot), Hibernate, Struts, JSF, Angular, Linux
  • Experience using and implementing SOAP/REST based web services using XML/Json
  • API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, ECS, DynamoDB, S3, Cloud deployment tools (Cloud Formation), container Orchestration (i.e. Strong SQL skills and working knowledge in RDBMS i.e. Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Agile and TDD is a plus
