**Job Summary**

The Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Technologist plays a vital role in our inter-professional healthcare team, providing expert care to our patients and customers. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing general, obstetrical, small parts, and peripheral vascular ultrasound exams, adhering to the guidelines and standards established by Sonography Canada and the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technologies and techniques, completing 25 CMEs per year as required by CMRITO
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of our healthcare services

**Requirements**

  • 1-2 years of current experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound educational program, recognized by Sonography Canada and registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Ability to perform general, obstetrical, small parts, and peripheral vascular ultrasound exams
  • Professional liability insurance through Sonography Canada or OAMRS is strongly recommended
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated problem assessment skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
  • Demonstrated individual leadership skills
