Job Summary

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our inter-professional healthcare team to provide professional expertise to internal and external customers. You will be responsible for performing general, obstetrical, small parts, and peripheral vascular ultrasound exams, adhering to guidelines and standards established by Sonography Canada and the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).

Key Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of current experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound educational program, recognized by Sonography Canada and registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Ability to perform general, obstetrical, small parts, and peripheral vascular ultrasound exams
  • 25 CMEs required per year as per CMRITO through continuing education
  • Professional liability insurance through Sonography Canada or OAMRS is strongly recommended
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated problem assessment skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
  • Demonstrated individual leadership skills
