MDSearch is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Edmonton, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and improving health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care through evaluation, screening, prescribing, and delivering therapeutic care as needed
- Maintain exceptional clinical customer service by offering timely and compassionate care
- Administer clinical care for patients with erectile dysfunction, including shockwave therapy
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ranging from 10-40 hours per week. The schedule is Monday to Friday.
Compensation- The hourly pay rate for this role is $75.00-$100.00.
- Current registration certificate from the College of Nurses of Alberta as a nurse practitioner in good standing
- Master of Science in Nursing or a related discipline is preferred
- Capability to conduct client interviews and examinations, create and execute client-centered treatment plans, and incorporate evidence-based health promotion practices
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams and operate in a collaborative practice model
- Strong leadership skills, such as teaching, mentoring, and supporting shared care models
- Professional liability coverage is mandatory; additional relevant professional memberships are beneficial
- Experience and confidence in independent work, with a high level of self-direction and excellent organizational abilities
- Proven excellence in interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including conflict resolution
- Proficiency in using information technology like Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
- Basic Life Support certification is mandatory
