Cloud Operations Automation Specialist

CAE is a leading provider of training solutions for the aviation industry, and we're looking for a skilled Cloud Operations Automation Specialist to join our team. As a Cloud Operations Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure and applications, ensuring that our systems are secure, scalable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our architecture, application, and infrastructure teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions
  • Build and maintain automation pipelines for cloud deployments, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems
  • Develop and implement monitoring templates, dashboards, and workbooks to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Deploy monitoring agents to various servers and build automation for cloud and on-premise environments
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and efficient

Requirements

  • Excellent English and French written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in deploying, patching, managing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft/Linux Server environments, both virtual and physical
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in CI/CD pipeline and DevOps practices
  • Proficiency with Terraform and Azure Cloud
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools and monitoring templates
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
